Prenatal Support

Meetings typically range from one to two hours. Designed for people who aren’t accessing birth support and just want prenatal support.

WHAT DOES PRENATAL DOULA SUPPORT LOOK LIKE WITH ROOTED?

Our prenatal doula support is designed to empower you with the information and confidence you need to feel prepared and supported as you approach birth.

During prenatal sessions, we may:

  • Review your birth place options and what you can expect in each setting
  • Discuss medical options and common interventions
  • Create space to explore any fears, worries, or concerns you may have about labor and birth
  • Explore physical comfort measures and coping strategies for labor
  • Create or refine your birth preferences, and postpartum plan

Doulas provide highly individualized care to meet the unique needs of each client, so their support may look different from person to person. Prenatal sessions typically range from one to two hours.
